Strategic Mindset
Strong media relations is the baseline of this job. What separates our team is strategic counsel: giving clients insight and direction they didn't know to ask for. PR Managers are expected to:
- Develop a deep working knowledge of each client's business model, product, competitors and category dynamics.
- Identify opportunities and risks before clients see them, and bring forward clear recommendations on how to act.
- Monitor competitor activity, industry narratives and macro trends to inform both individual pitches and long-term positioning.
- See around corners. The best work we do is the work clients didn't realize they needed.
- Push back when a client request doesn't serve their strategic interests, and propose a better path.
